Datasheets
  • Annexin-2/ANXA2 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against a peptide mapping near the N-terminus of Annexin II of human origin
  • recommended for detection of Annexin II of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine, bovine and porcine
  • See Annexin-2/ANXA2 (C-10): sc-28385 for Annexin-2/ANXA2 antibody conjugates, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488, 594, 647, 680 and 790.
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for Annexin-2/ANXA2 Antibody (H-3) for WB and IHC(P) applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with Annexin-2/ANXA2 Antibody (H-3) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

Annexin II Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody raised against a peptide mapping near the N-terminus of human Annexin II, also known as Annexin A2, p36, Calpactin I heavy chain, Chromobindin-8, and Lipocortin II. Anti-Annexin II antibody (H-3) detects Annexin II from mouse, rat, human, and additional species including equine, canine, bovine, and porcine origins by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Annexin II is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein involved in various cellular processes such as membrane trafficking, endocytosis, exocytosis, and cellular adhesion. Annexin II functions as a key mediator in fibrinolysis by acting as a co-receptor for tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and plasminogen, facilitating the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin, which is essential for blood clot breakdown. The protein forms a heterotetramer with S100A10 (p11), known as calpactin I, which is crucial for its role in signal transduction and cytoskeletal organization. Understanding the function of Annexin II is important because this protein is implicated in physiological processes like inflammation, angiogenesis, and tumor progression. Annexin II monoclonal antibody (H-3) is available in both unconjugated and multiple conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for a wide range of experimental applications. Anti-Annexin II antibody (H-3) enables researchers to investigate Annexin II′s role in health and disease, making this tool valuable in biomedical research.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-271175 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
