ALK Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody engineered to target the anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) protein, also known as CD246 or ALK RTK. ALK is a receptor tyrosine kinase characterized by its distinct structure, which includes an N-terminal extracellular domain, a single transmembrane helix, and an intracellular kinase domain. This protein plays a crucial role in the development and function of the nervous system by regulating neuronal growth, differentiation, and survival. Additionally, ALK is implicated in various cancers, including anaplastic large cell lymphoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and neuroblastoma, where genetic alterations such as translocations lead to constitutive activation and drive oncogenic signaling pathways. ALK (F-12) monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes an epitope within amino acids 117-145 of the N-terminal extracellular domain of human ALK, ensuring high specificity and affinity for the target protein. Anti-ALK antibody (F-12) demonstrates robust reactivity with ALK from mouse, rat, and human origins across multiple applications, including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), making this tool indispensable for both basic and clinical research. By facilitating precise detection and analysis of ALK expression and activity, ALK (F-12) monoclonal antibody enables researchers to investigate ALK-related signaling mechanisms and develop targeted therapeutic strategies. Anti-ALK antibody (F-12) supports studies aimed at understanding ALK′s role in normal physiology and contribution to disease pathology, thereby advancing the development of effective diagnostic and treatment options.
