3PGDH Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects 3PGDH protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). 3PGDH (B-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. 3PGDH, consisting of 544 amino acids, plays a crucial role in the metabolism of L-serine, an essential amino acid that serves as a precursor for the synthesis of neurotransmitters and other important biomolecules. 3PGDH is particularly significant in the central nervous system, where 3PGDH is highly expressed in both adult and fetal brain tissues, as well as in other organs such as the prostate, testis, ovary, liver, kidney, and pancreas. 3PGDH regulation is tissue-specific and influenced by cellular proliferative status, which underscores its importance in developmental processes and metabolic pathways.
