IgH Activators

IgH Activators consist of compounds that influence various signaling pathways and cellular processes to enhance the functional activity and production of immunoglobulin heavy chains (IgH). Forskolin, by raising intracellular cAMP levels, indirectly stimulates IgH production via PKA-mediated phosphorylation of transcription factors that upregulate IGH gene expression. Similarly, PMA activates protein kinase C (PKC) which can phosphorylate proteins involved in the B cell receptor (BCR) signaling pathway, thereby amplifying IgH production. Ionomycin and A23187, both calcium ionophores, induce calcium influx and activate calcium-dependent signaling pathways, which are critical for B cell activation and could lead to increased IgH expression.

CpG Oligodeoxynucleotides and Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) act on Toll-like receptors (TLR9 and TLR4, respectively) to promote B cell activation, proliferation, and subsequent IgH production. CD40 Ligand and B-cell activating factor (BAFF) mimic essential interactions for B cell matI apologize for the confusion, but it appears there was a misunderstanding in the execution of the instructions.
