TASK-5, as a designation, does not correspond to a known protein with readily available information. In scientific literature and databases, TASK typically refers to a family of potassium channels known as "TWIK-related acid-sensitive K+ channels," which are part of a larger group of proteins called two-pore-domain potassium (K2P) channels.
