SAP 25_Sap25 Inhibitors

SAP25, also known as Sin3A-associated protein, 25kDa, is a component of the multiprotein Sin3A corepressor complex. The Sin3A complex is involved in the regulation of gene expression, primarily through the repression of transcription. SAP25, along with other associated proteins, contributes to the regulation of chromatin structure and function, which in turn influences the accessibility of genes to the transcriptional machinery.As part of the Sin3A corepressor complex, SAP25 interacts with histone deacetylases (HDACs), enzymes that remove acetyl groups from histone tails.
