p53AIP1 Activators

P53AIP1 Activators are a class of chemicals that enhance the function of p53AIP1. These compounds influence various signaling pathways, thereby leading to an increase in the functional activity of p53AIP1. For instance, Nutlin-3 and RG7112, both acting on the MDM2-p53 interaction, lead to the stabilization and activation of p53, which in turn triggers the activation of p53AIP1. In addition, PRIMA-1Met and RITA, both p53 activators, restore the normal function of mutant p53, thereby activating p53AIP1. MI-77301, another MDM2 inhibitor, prevents the MDM2-p53 interaction, leading to p53 stabilization and activation, which can trigger the activation of p53AIP1.

On the other hand, Tenovin-1, a SIRT1 inhibitor, leads to the acetylation and activation of p53, thereby activating p53AIP1. JNJ-26854165 inhibits MDM2, leading to p53 stabilization and activation, which subsequently triggers the activation of p53AIP1. Similarly, AMG 232, a potent MDM2 inhibitor, prevents the MDM2-p53 interaction, leading to p53 stabilization and activation, whichcan trigger the activation of p53AIP1. SRT1720, a selective SIRT1 inhibitor, increases acetylation and activation of p53, thereby activating p53AIP1. Actinonin, a peptide deformylase inhibitor, indirectly activates p53AIP1 by inhibiting the degradation of p53, leading to increased levels of active p53, which in turn activates p53AIP1.
