GPR52 Activators

GPR52 (G Protein-Coupled Receptor 52) is a cell surface receptor that plays a role in various cellular signaling pathways. Adenosine A2A receptor antagonists like Istradefylline and Sch58261 can indirectly impact GPR52 by blocking adenosine receptors, as adenosine receptors are known to interact with GPCRs like GPR52. Similarly, other adenosine A2A receptor antagonists, such as Preladenant and KW-6002, may affect GPR52 activity via adenosine receptor interactions. On the other hand, compounds like Bromocriptine and Ropinirole, dopamine D2 receptor agonists, can potentially influence GPR52 through modulation of dopamine receptor-mediated pathways, as GPR52 has been linked to dopamine signaling.
