CHST1 Inhibitors

CHST1 inhibitors comprise a set of compounds capable of inhibiting the activity of Carbohydrate (Keratan Sulfate Gal-6) Sulfotransferase 1 (CHST1). This enzyme is involved in the sulfation of keratan, a crucial step in the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans. By inhibiting CHST1, these compounds can potentially interfere with glycosaminoglycan biosynthesis. CHST1 inhibitors includes compounds that can directly block the enzyme's active site.
