CD24 Activators

CD24 Activators are a class of chemicals that function by modulating various signaling pathways and cellular processes, leading to an upregulation or stabilization of CD24 expression or activity. Retinoic Acid, for example, is well-known for affecting gene transcription, which can lead to the upregulation of CD24. Similarly, Dexamethasone works by activating glucocorticoid receptors, thereby influencing the transcriptional machinery to enhance CD24 expression. EGF, or epidermal growth factor, targets the EGF receptor (EGFR) and consequently influences downstream signals that affect CD24 expression.

TGF-β, another influential compound, operates via the SMAD protein family to upregulate CD24.
