AUH Activators

AUH activators represent a diverse group of chemical compounds that directly enhance the functional activity of AUH via a variety of biochemical pathways. D-Biotin, for example, is a direct activator of AUH as it increases AUH's ability to ligate biotin to proteins. Similarly, Adenosine Monophosphate (AMP) enhances AUH's functional activity by increasing its capacity to phosphorylate substrates, as AUH is an AMP-activated protein kinase. Further, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) and Acetyl CoA directly impact AUH's redox catalysis and carboxylation of acetyl CoA to malonyl CoA respectively, thus enhancing its functional activity.

Thiamine Pyrophosphate (TPP), S-Adenosylmethionine (SAM), Pyridoxal Phosphate (PLP), and Menaquinone (MK-4) also directly enhance AUH's functional activity by increasing its capacity to catalyze decarboxylation reactions, transfer methyl groups to substrates, catalyze transamination reactions, and reduce menaquinone respectively. In addition, Pantothenate, Uridine Triphosphate (UTP), Riboflavin, and Tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) directly enhance AUH's functional activity by increasing its capacity to phosphorylate pantothenate, transfer UTP to glucose-1-phosphate, phosphorylate riboflavin, and catalyze hydroxylation reactions respectively.
