Does this antibody recognize also the processed (activated) form of SREBP?

I am using SREBP-2 (A-12): sc-271616 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no resultI used a free sample for SREBP2 detection in WB of protein extracts from H9c2 cells. Unfortunately I did not get any results although I have tested various dilutions of the antibody (1: 1000, 1: 500, 1: 250).
