脂肪酸合酶抗体（A-5）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆脂肪酸合酶抗体，可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人源的脂肪酸合酶。脂肪酸合酶抗体（A-5）既有偶联形式，也有非偶联形式的抗脂肪酸合酶抗体。脂肪酸的生物合成是由七种催化酶和一个酰基载体蛋白（ACP）介导的，各种酰基中间体共价连接在ACP上。脂肪酸合酶（FAS）是一种含有七个独特催化位点的合成酶，在辅因子NADPH的存在下，介导乙酰辅酶A和丙二酰辅酶A转化为长链饱和脂肪酸，如棕榈酸。人类脂肪酸合酶cDNA编码一个由2504个氨基酸组成的蛋白质。具有催化活性的脂肪酸合酶是同二聚体。人类脂肪酸合酶mRNA的表达水平各不相同，在脑、肺和肝中的表达水平较高。肿瘤细胞中的脂肪酸合成代谢异常升高，可能支持恶性肿瘤细胞的生长或存活。

Can I use this antibody for IHC/IF staining on mouse tissue?

This antibody is recommended for IHC and IF staining. However, best results for staining on mouse tissue with a mouse antibody are achieved by using a directly conjugated antibody. See Fatty Acid Synthase (G-11): sc-48357 for Fatty Acid Synthase antibody conjugates, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488 and Alexa Fluor® 647.

I used it at a 1:1000 dilution, and the secondary GAM at 1:1000 dilution on rat liver homogenates that were run on a 5% gel transferred to nitrocellulose membrane. The antibody was very clean there were no other bands and no background. The antibody was very strong.
