DR4 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DR4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DR4 monoclonal antibody (B-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DR4 protein, also known as TNFRSF10A, plays a crucial role in mediating apoptosis through interaction with cytokine TRAIL (TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand). Such interaction is vital for regulating programmed cell death, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and eliminating damaged or cancerous cells. DR4′s ability to initiate apoptosis underscores importance in cancer therapy, as targeting this pathway can enhance effectiveness of treatments aimed at inducing tumor cell death. Additionally, DR4 functions as part of tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, which includes other receptors like FAS and CD40, and DR4 signaling pathways are critical for immune responses and development of various diseases.

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, DR4 (B-9): sc-8411 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC and AlexaFluors.

I campioni di interesse valutati, erano risultati positivi per espressione di RNA, ma data la bassa sensibilità del sistema non sono risultati positivi per la proteina.
