    SEE ALSO...

ZSCAN22 Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZSCAN22 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZSCAN22 (D-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZSCAN22 protein, also known as HKR2 or ZNF50, is a 491 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation. ZSCAN22 belongs to the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, characterized by eight C2H2-type zinc fingers and one SCAN box domain, which are essential for DNA-binding capabilities. The presence of these zinc fingers allows ZSCAN22 to interact with specific DNA sequences, thereby influencing gene expression. ZSCAN22 becomes phosphorylated in response to DNA damage, suggesting involvement in cellular stress responses and maintenance of genomic integrity. The gene encoding ZSCAN22 is located on human chromosome 19q13.43, highlighting significance in human genetics and potential implications in various diseases.
