    SEE ALSO...

ZNF74 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF74 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ZNF74 antibody (B-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF74, a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, plays a crucial role in gene regulation due to its ability to bind DNA through zinc-finger motifs. Specifically, ZNF74 contains one KRAB domain and twelve C2H2-type zinc fingers, which facilitate interaction with the nuclear matrix and enable engagement in protein-protein interactions essential for transcriptional regulation. ZNF74′s importance is underscored by involvement in DiGeorge syndrome, where deletions of the gene encoding ZNF74 on chromosome 22 are linked to various developmental issues, including congenital heart defects and learning disabilities. Additionally, ZNF74 undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in four distinct isoforms, which may contribute to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms within the cell.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390612 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
