    SEE ALSO...

ZNF474 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF474 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF474 (C-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF474, also known as Testis-specific zinc finger protein, is a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, characterized by a 364 amino acid structure that includes a single C2H2-type zinc finger domain. ZNF474 plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation, particularly in testis development and function, highlighting its importance in reproductive biology. ZNF474 is located on chromosome 5, which is significant as this location is associated with various genetic disorders, including Cockayne syndrome and familial adenomatous polyposis, due to involvement in critical genomic functions. Understanding ZNF474 and its interactions can provide insights into mechanisms of gene regulation and potential implications in developmental and reproductive health.

What blocking solution should I use with ZNF474 (C-8): sc-514917 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
