    SEE ALSO...

ZCSL3 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ZCSL3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZCSL3 (E-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZCSL3, a member of the CSL-type zinc finger-containing proteins, plays a crucial role in the synthesis of diphthamide, a post-translational modification found on translation elongation factor EF-2, which is essential for protein synthesis and is a target for bacterial ADP-ribosylating toxins. This modification is vital for proper EF-2 functioning, as diphthamide influences the fidelity and efficiency of protein translation, thereby impacting cellular growth and stress response. ZCSL3, along with ZCSL1 and ZCSL2 homologs, contributes to diphthamide synthesis, with ZCSL2 being particularly important in initial pathway steps. ZCSL2 expression is notably high in spleen, heart, lung, liver, and thymus, indicating significance in diverse biological functions. Multiple format options for anti-ZCSL3 antibody (E-3) enable versatile research applications, supporting studies of diphthamide synthesis and its implications in cellular processes and disease mechanisms.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-166811 X be used instead of the standard form sc-166811?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
