YIPF4 Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects YIPF4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). YIPF4 (E-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. YIPF4 protein, also known as FinGER4, MGC11061, or Nbla11189, is a 244 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in membrane trafficking and vesicle biogenesis as a member of the YIP1 family. This family of small membrane proteins is known to interact with Rab GTPases, which are essential for regulating intracellular transport processes. Proper functioning of YIPF4 is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating the transport of proteins and lipids within the cell, thereby influencing various cellular functions and signaling pathways. YIPF4 is encoded by a gene located on chromosome 2p22.3, a region associated with several genetic diseases, highlighting the importance of this protein in both normal physiology and disease states.
