    SEE ALSO...

WWC2 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects WWC2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). WWC2 Antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WWC2, also known as BOMB (BH-3-only member B), is a significant 1,192 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of apoptosis and cell proliferation. WWC2′s structure includes one C2 domain and two WW domains, which are essential for protein-protein interactions, allowing WWC2 to interact with various signaling molecules and modulate their activity. WWC2 exists as seven alternatively spliced isoforms, providing functional diversity that is vital for its role in different cellular contexts. The gene encoding WWC2 is located on human chromosome 4q35.1, a region that is not only rich in genes but also associated with several genetic disorders, highlighting WWC2′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states.
