WSB1 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects WSB1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). WSB1 (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WSB1, also known as WD repeat and SOCS box-containing 1 or SWIP1, is a 421 amino acid protein characterized by one SOCS box domain and six WD repeats, which are motifs that typically form a tertiary propeller structure. These WD repeats facilitate WSB1′s involvement in various cellular functions, including chromatin assembly, cell cycle control, signal transduction, RNA processing, apoptosis, and vesicular trafficking. WSB1 functions as part of an SCF-like Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, playing a significant role in ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins, such as DIO2. Notably, WSB1 overexpression has been linked to pancreatic cancer progression, highlighting WSB1′s potential role in carcinogenesis and making WSB1 an important target for cancer research.
