    SEE ALSO...

WRN Antibody (F-33) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects WRN in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). WRN, or Werner′s syndrome protein, plays a crucial role in maintaining genomic stability by participating in DNA repair processes, particularly in the unwinding of DNA during replication and repair. This function is vital as WRN helps prevent the accumulation of DNA damage, which can lead to age-related diseases and cancer, conditions that are notably prevalent in individuals with Werner′s syndrome. WRN is located in the nucleus, where WRN interacts with various other proteins involved in DNA metabolism, including those responsible for homologous recombination and nucleotide excision repair. Understanding WRN function and interactions is essential for elucidating the mechanisms underlying premature aging and cancer susceptibility, making anti-WRN antibody (F-33) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.

I am using WRN (F-33): sc-101110 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
