Wnt-10a Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Wnt-10a of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Wnt-10a antibody (A-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Wnt-10a, also known as wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 10A, is a 417 amino acid secreted signaling molecule that plays a crucial role in various developmental processes, including cell fate regulation and embryogenesis. Wnt-10a acts as a ligand for frizzled proteins in the central nervous system, facilitating essential signaling pathways. Wnt-10a shows strong expression in certain cancers, such as promyelocytic leukemia and Burkitt′s lymphoma, indicating involvement in oncogenesis and tumor progression. Mutations in Wnt-10a are linked to odonto-onycho-dermal dysplasia (OODD), a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by dry hair, nail abnormalities, and skin hyperkeratosis, underscoring Wnt-10a′s significance in both normal development and disease.
