WDR70 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects WDR70 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-WDR70 antibody (C-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WDR70, which consists of 654 amino acids and features seven WD repeats, plays a crucial role in cellular processes by participating in the assembly of protein complexes, which is essential for regulating signal transduction, apoptosis, transcriptional regulation, and cell cycle control. The presence of WD repeats, characterized by a conserved core of 40-60 amino acids that typically form a tertiary propeller structure, allows WDR70 to interact with various proteins, facilitating complex formation that is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental signals. Encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 5q13.3, WDR70 is part of the WD repeat GAD-1 family, underscoring its importance in a wide array of biological functions.

Are there any issues with using sc-398268: WDR70 (C-5) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-398268 conjugates.
