    SEE ALSO...

VWA8 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects VWA8 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). VWA8 (E-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. VWA8, also known as von Willebrand factor A domain containing 8 or KIAA0564, is a secreted protein consisting of 1,905 amino acids and features a von Willebrand factor A (VWFA) domain, which is critical for cell adhesion and signaling functions. VWA8 plays a significant role in various biological processes, including cell migration regulation and tissue repair, making VWA8 essential for maintaining normal physiological functions. VWA8 gene is located on human chromosome 13q14.11 and mouse chromosome 14 D3, which is notable as chromosome 13 harbors key tumor suppressor genes such as BRCA2 and RB1, both implicated in cancer development. Understanding VWA8 interactions and functions can provide insights into potential roles in tumor biology and other diseases, highlighting VWA8′s importance in both health and disease contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514470 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
