    SEE ALSO...

VapC Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects VapC protein across various species through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). VapC (B-9) antibody comes in non-conjugated form and multiple conjugated versions, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, offering flexibility for different experimental applications. VapC functions as a bacterial toxin that inhibits host cell translation, contributing to bacterial virulence and pathogenicity during infections. VapC research is crucial for understanding bacterial defense evasion mechanisms and identifying potential therapeutic targets in infectious diseases. VapC interactions with VAMP-associated proteins (VAPs) play a key role in SNARE-mediated membrane fusion processes, essential for intracellular transport and communication. VAP gene mutations, including VAP-B and VAP-C, have links to severe neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting VapC′s significance in both microbial pathogenesis and human health.
