SEE ALSO...

Vangl1 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Vangl1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Vangl1 antibody (E-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Vangl1, also known as Van Gogh-like protein 1, plays a crucial role in establishing planar cell polarity (PCP) during embryonic development, which is essential for proper tissue organization and function. Vangl1 is primarily localized to the cell membrane, where Vangl1 interacts with other proteins involved in signaling pathways that regulate cell orientation and movement. Proper functioning of Vangl1 is vital, as disruptions in Vangl1 activity can lead to developmental defects and have been implicated in various cancers, including gastric and pancreatic tumors. The gene encoding Vangl1 is located on human chromosome 1p11-p13.1, and Vangl1 expression is notably high in reproductive tissues, highlighting a potential role in developmental processes. anti-Vangl1 antibody (E-3) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of cell polarity and implications in cancer biology and developmental disorders.
