    VAC14 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects VAC14 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-VAC14 antibody (F-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. VAC14, also known as TAX1BP2 (Tax1-binding protein 2) or TRX, is a crucial component in regulating phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate (PI(3,5)P2), a signaling molecule that plays a vital role in cellular compartmentalization and membrane dynamics. Located in the cytoplasm, VAC14 interacts with FIG4 to modulate PI(3,5)P2 synthesis, which is essential for various intracellular trafficking processes and maintaining cellular homeostasis. VAC14 consists of 782 amino acids and features six HEAT repeats, which are important for protein-protein interactions and forming regulatory complexes. VAC14 is situated on human chromosome 16, a region that encompasses over 900 genes and represents nearly 3% of the human genome, highlighting VAC14′s significance in cellular function and signaling pathways.

    Thank you for your question. Yes, VAC14 (F-12): sc-365272 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
