V-ATPase D Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects V-ATPase D (V-ATPase D) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). V-ATPase D (E-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The vacuolar-type H+-ATPase (V-ATPase) is a crucial multisubunit enzyme that plays a vital role in acidifying eukaryotic intracellular organelles, essential for processes such as protein degradation, nutrient storage, and cellular signaling. V-ATPase functions by pumping protons against an electrochemical gradient, maintaining pH homeostasis within organelles and facilitating proper cellular processes. V-ATPase consists of a peripheral V1 domain responsible for ATP hydrolysis and an integral V0 domain responsible for proton translocation, with V1 domain comprising nine subunits (A-H) and V0 domain containing five subunits (a, d, c, c′, and c"). V-ATPase C, an auxiliary subunit, exhibits ubiquitous expression, highlighting V-ATPase′s importance across different cell types. Anti-V-ATPase D antibody (E-12) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying intracellular pH regulation and V-ATPase′s role in various physiological and pathological contexts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from wrong band?I received this antibody as a sample. The antibody did not recognize a 28kDa band as predicted. Instead it recognized a single band at ~250kDa in HEK293 lysate.
