USP30 Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects USP30 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-USP30 antibody (B-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USP30, which consists of 517 amino acids, is primarily localized in the mitochondrion and plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, a key regulatory pathway that controls protein degradation and cellular homeostasis. USP30 is essential for maintaining mitochondrial function and integrity, as USP30 catalyzes the conversion of ubiquitin C-terminal thioesters to free ubiquitin and thiols, thereby regulating the turnover of mitochondrial proteins. The gene encoding USP30 is located on human chromosome 12, which harbors over 1,100 genes and constitutes approximately 4.5% of the human genome. USP30 functions are vital for various cellular processes, including signal transduction and cell cycle regulation, making USP30 an important target for research in cellular biology and disease mechanisms.
