SEE ALSO...

USP15 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects USP15 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USP15 (B-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USP15, also known as ubiquitin specific peptidase 15 or UNPH4, is a crucial component of the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which regulates protein degradation and cellular homeostasis. USP15 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and nucleus, where USP15 plays a vital role in maintaining protein stability by removing ubiquitin moieties from target proteins, thus preventing their degradation by the proteasome. This deubiquitinating activity is essential for various cellular processes, including signal transduction and cell cycle regulation, as USP15 allows for the recycling of proteins that are otherwise marked for destruction. USP15 contains a DUSP domain that is involved in the regulation of the COP9 signalosome complex, which is important for modulating various signaling pathways. Additionally, alternative splicing of the USP15 gene results in three distinct isoforms, each potentially having unique regulatory roles in cellular functions.
