SEE ALSO...

USP13 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects USP13 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USP13 Antibody (B-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USP13, also known as ubiquitin specific peptidase 13 or ISOT3, is a crucial component of the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which regulates protein degradation and various cellular processes. With a length of 863 amino acids, USP13 belongs to the peptidase C19 family and features one UBP-type zinc finger and two UBA domains, which are essential for recognizing and processing ubiquitin. USP13 is highly expressed in testicular and ovarian tissues, where USP13 plays a vital role in catalyzing the hydrolysis of ubiquitin C-terminal thioesters, thereby releasing free ubiquitin and regulating the turnover of proteins involved in critical cellular functions such as signal transduction and cell cycle progression. USP13′s ability to modulate the ubiquitin pathway underscores USP13′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress, making USP13 a significant target for research in various biological contexts.
