USP11 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects USP11 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USP11 Antibody (C-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USP11, also known as ubiquitin specific peptidase 11 or UHX1, is a crucial 920 amino acid deubiquitinating enzyme that plays a significant role in the ubiquitin (Ub) pathway, which regulates numerous intracellular processes such as signal transduction, transcriptional activation, and cell cycle progression. Located primarily in the nucleus, USP11 interacts with key proteins, including Ran binding protein M and the tumor suppressor BRCA2, to modulate their ubiquitination status. This interaction prevents ubiquitination of these proteins and facilitates the removal of ubiquitin residues that may hinder their function. USP11′s ability to deubiquitinate BRCA2 is particularly important in tumor suppression, as this process may influence cellular response to DNA damage. Additionally, USP11 has been implicated in various X-linked retinal diseases, highlighting USP11′s significance in both cancer biology and genetic disorders.
