SEE ALSO...

ULBP4 Antibody (6E6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects the ULBP4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). ULBP4 (6E6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ULBP4, a member of the UL16 binding protein family, plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a ligand for the activating receptor NKG2D/DAP10, which is essential for the activation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells. The interaction between ULBP4 and NKG2D/DAP10 triggers a cascade of signaling events that lead to the secretion of cytokines, such as interferon-gamma, and promotes the lysis of tumor cells. ULBP4 exists as a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein, localizing to the cell surface and facilitating immune surveillance. ULBP4 expression on stressed or transformed cells serves as a signal for immune recognition, making ULBP4 a critical component in the body′s defense against malignancies and infections. Soluble forms of ULBP4 can modulate immune responses by inducing protein tyrosine phosphorylation and activating key signaling pathways, including Janus kinase 2, STAT5, and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/Akt, further underscoring ULBP4′s importance in immune regulation.

I bought the L form of this antibody, sc-53133 L for blocking (neutralization). How long can I store this at in the refridgerator?

Asked by: jenniferc
The L form of the antibody should be stored at -20°C. Once thawed, we recommend using as soon as possible, although it is usually stable for up to 2 weeks at 4 degrees.
