UBE2C Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects UBE2C protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-UBE2C antibody (B-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. UBE2C, also known as UBCH10 in humans, plays a critical role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, specifically as an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that facilitates the transfer of ubiquitin to target proteins. This process is essential for regulating protein degradation, particularly during the cell cycle, as UBE2C is involved in the anaphase-promoting complex (APC) pathway, which ensures the timely degradation of key cell-cycle regulators.
