SEE ALSO...

Tyro3 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Tyro3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Tyro3 (B-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tyro3 is a member of the Axl/UFO subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases, which play crucial roles in cellular signaling pathways. These receptors are characterized by their unique structure, which includes an N-terminal extracellular domain composed of two immunoglobulin-like domains and two fibronectin type III domains, followed by a single transmembrane helix and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain. The structural integrity of Tyro3 is vital for its function in processes such as spermatogenesis, immunoregulation, and phagocytosis, as Tyro3 facilitates receptor dimerization and activation upon ligand binding. Tyro3 is predominantly expressed in adult tissues, particularly in the brain, testis, lymphatic, and vascular systems, highlighting Tyro3′s importance in various physiological functions. Additionally, Tyro3 undergoes significant post-translational modifications, including tyrosine phosphorylation and glycosylation, which are essential for regulatory roles in cellular processes. The interaction of Tyro3 with ligands such as Protein S and Gas6 further underscores functional relevance, as these proteins are implicated in anticoagulant mechanisms and growth regulation, thereby contributing to overall homeostasis within the body.
