Tyro3 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Tyro3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Tyro3 (A-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tyro3, a member of the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate important biological processes such as spermatogenesis, immunoregulation, and phagocytosis. Located primarily in the brain, testis, lymphatic, and vascular tissues, Tyro3 is characterized by an N-terminal extracellular domain with two immunoglobulin-like domains, two fibronectin type III domains, a single transmembrane helix, and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain. This structural configuration enables dimerization and activation of Tyro3 upon ligand binding, leading to downstream signaling events vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Tyro3 undergoes significant post-translational modifications, including tyrosine phosphorylation and glycosylation, which further modulate activity and interactions. Tyro3 interacts with ligands such as Protein S and Gas6, both implicated in anti-coagulant processes, highlighting Tyro3′s importance in regulating physiological responses.
