TXNL1 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects TXNL1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TXNL1 (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TXNL1, also known as Thioredoxin-like protein 1, TRP32, TXL, or TXL-1, is a 289 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in cellular redox regulation and signaling. TXNL1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where TXNL1 participates in endocytotic signaling pathways and acts as a redox sensor, coupling oxidative stress to endocytosis and thereby regulating the GDI:Rad5-mediated endocytic response. This function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis, particularly under oxidative stress conditions, as TXNL1 helps modulate the internalization of membrane proteins and receptors, influencing various cellular processes such as nutrient uptake and signal transduction. Furthermore, TXNL1 has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation by inducing G0/G1 arrest, indicating TXNL1′s role as a transcriptional repressor. With 99% homology to its mouse homolog and containing a single thioredoxin domain, TXNL1 is an essential protein for understanding the mechanisms of redox biology and its implications in cellular function and disease.
