    TTF2 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TTF2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TTF2 Antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TTF2, also known as transcription termination factor 2 or HuF2, is a double-stranded DNA-dependent ATPase that plays a crucial role in transcription termination by facilitating RNA polymerase II release from DNA templates. This process ensures proper gene expression and regulation by preventing transcription machinery from continuing past intended termination sites. TTF2 localizes to the cytoplasm during interphase and moves to the nucleus during mitosis, showcasing dynamic cellular functions. As a Swi2/Snf2 protein family member, TTF2 terminates transcription and participates in pre-mRNA splicing and mitotic transcriptional repression. TTF2 contains a helicase ATP-binding domain and interacts with spliceosome complex and Cdc5L (cell division cycle 5-like), highlighting multiple functions in gene regulation. Two TTF2 isoforms result from alternative splicing, potentially contributing to diverse regulatory roles across cellular contexts.
