Datasheets
  • TTC12 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 7-41 near the N-terminus of TTC12 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of TTC12 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and bovine and porcine
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG2b BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for TTC12 Antibody (E-8) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with TTC12 Antibody (E-8) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

TTC12 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects TTC12 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TTC12, also known as TPARM, is a 705 amino acid cytoplasmic protein characterized by its tetratricopeptide repeat domain and three armadillo repeat motifs, which play a crucial role in mediating protein-protein interactions essential for various cellular pathways. The presence of the TPR motif allows TTC12 to engage in specific interactions with other proteins, influencing processes such as cell signaling and gene regulation. TTC12 is expressed in several tissues, including the testis, prostate, lung, and various cancer types, highlighting potential significance in tumor biology. The gene encoding TTC12 is located on human chromosome 11, a region frequently deleted in various cancers, suggesting TTC12 may function as a candidate tumor suppressor gene. Given involvement in critical cellular functions and association with cancer, anti-TTC12 antibody (E-8) serves as a valuable tool for researchers investigating this protein in health and disease.
