TTC12 Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TTC12 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TTC12 Antibody (B-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TTC12, also known as tetratricopeptide repeat domain 12 or TPARM, is a 705 amino acid cytoplasmic protein characterized by a tetratricopeptide repeat domain and three armadillo repeat motifs, which are crucial for mediating protein-protein interactions. The presence of the tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motif, a degenerate 34 amino acid sequence, allows TTC12 to engage in diverse interactions within various cellular pathways, making TTC12 essential for processes such as cell signaling and regulation of gene expression. TTC12 is expressed in several tissues, including the testis, prostate, lung, and various cancer types such as neuroblastoma, teratocarcinoma, colon cancer, and gastric cancer. The gene encoding TTC12 is located on human chromosome 11, a region frequently deleted in various cancers, positioning TTC12 as a potential tumor suppressor gene. Given that human chromosome 11 contains over 1,400 genes and represents nearly 4% of the human genome, TTC12′s implications in cancer biology and role in cellular mechanisms are significant, making anti-TTC12 antibody (B-1) a valuable tool for researchers studying these pathways.
