TTC12 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TTC12 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TTC12, also known as TPARM, is a 705 amino acid cytoplasmic protein characterized by tetratricopeptide repeat domain and three armadillo repeat motifs, which play a crucial role in mediating protein-protein interactions essential for various cellular pathways. The presence of TPR motif allows TTC12 to engage in specific interactions with other proteins, influencing processes such as cell signaling and gene regulation. TTC12 is expressed in several tissues, including testis, prostate, lung, and various cancer types, such as neuroblastoma and colon cancer. TTC12 gene is located on human chromosome 11, a region frequently deleted in numerous cancers, highlighting potential role as a tumor suppressor gene. TTC12′s ability to interact with specific proteins may provide insights into function in tumorigenesis and cellular homeostasis, making anti-TTC12 antibody (C-9) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
