    SEE ALSO...

TRUB2 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TRUB2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRUB2 (E-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRUB2, also known as tRNA pseudouridine synthase 2, is a 331 amino acid enzyme that plays a crucial role in the post-transcriptional modification of tRNA by catalyzing the conversion of uracil to pseudouridine, a modification essential for tRNA stability and function. This modification is important because pseudouridine enhances tRNA structural integrity, improving protein synthesis accuracy and overall cellular function. TRUB2 contains a TruB domain and exhibits approximately 30% sequence similarity with TRUB1, indicating a shared evolutionary origin linked to eubacterial tRNA synthases, while being distinct from Dyskerin. The gene encoding TRUB2 is located on human chromosome 9, a region housing over 900 genes and associated with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and familial dysautonomia, conditions linked to vascular defects and autonomic nervous system dysfunction. Additionally, chromosome 9 contains the largest cluster of interferon family genes, underscoring its importance in immune response regulation.
