TRC8 Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TRC8 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRC8, also known as RNF139, RCA1, or HRCA1, is a multi-pass membrane protein predominantly expressed in the testis, adrenal gland, and placenta, with lower expression levels in the liver, skeletal muscle, pancreas, kidney, brain, heart, and lung. TRC8 localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and features ten transmembrane segments, a sterol-sensing domain, and a RING-type zinc finger, which suggests a potential role as a ubiquitin ligase and signaling receptor.
