TPD52 Antibody (A-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TPD52 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TPD52 antibody (A-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The tumor protein D52 (TPD52) is a member of a small family of proteins that includes TPD52L1 and TPD52L2, characterized by coiled-coil motifs, which facilitate protein-protein interactions. These interactions are crucial for various cellular processes, including the regulation of secretory pathways in plasma cells. TPD52 has been shown to bind to annexin VI in a calcium-dependent manner, indicating a potential role in modulating exocytosis and other calcium-regulated functions. TPD52 gene is located on chromosome 8q21 and is frequently overexpressed in prostate and breast carcinomas due to gene amplification, highlighting TPD52′s significance in cancer biology and potential as a therapeutic target.
