    SEE ALSO...

TNNI3K Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TNNI3K of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TNNI3K (H-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TNNI3K, also known as TNNI3-interacting kinase or cardiac ankyrin repeat kinase, is a 936 amino acid serine/threonine-protein kinase predominantly expressed in cardiac tissue. TNNI3K enhances cardiac contractility and responsiveness to stress hormones like epinephrine, which is crucial for maintaining heart function during increased physiological demands. TNNI3K plays a protective role by suppressing phosphorylation of cardiac troponin I and inhibiting p38/JNK-mediated apoptosis, thereby safeguarding myocardium from ischemic damage. Research has shown that TNNI3K administration in models of myocardial infarction significantly improves cardiac performance and mitigates ventricular remodeling, highlighting potential as a therapeutic target for cardiac diseases. TNNI3K exists in four isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to diverse regulatory roles in cardiac physiology.
