    SEE ALSO...

TNFβ Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a light chain antibody that detects tumor necrosis factor β (TNFβ) in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TNFβ is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by activated lymphocytes, including CD4(+) T helper type 1 cells, CD8(+) lymphocytes, and certain B lymphoblastoid cell lines, playing a crucial role in immune regulation and inflammation. Notably, TNFβ interacts with TNF receptors 1 and 2 on target tumor cells, which is essential for mediating cytotoxic effects; specifically, the p55 receptor is responsible for triggering the cytotoxic response. This interaction allows TNFβ to modulate various immune and inflammatory functions while also possessing the ability to inhibit tumor growth, making TNFβ a significant player in both immune response and cancer therapy. Anti-TNFβ antibody (D-10) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the complex roles of cytokines in health and disease, providing insights into therapeutic strategies targeting TNF signaling pathways.
