SEE ALSO...

TMEFF1 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TMEFF1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TMEFF1 antibody (B-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TMEFF1 is a putative transmembrane protein characterized by a unique structure that includes one epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domain and two follistatin-like domains, which are crucial for cellular signaling function. Located predominantly in the brain, TMEFF1 plays a significant role in modulating signaling pathways, particularly by inhibiting nodal signaling through interaction with Cripto, a nodal co-receptor. This interaction suggests a potential tumor suppressor function for TMEFF1 in brain cancers, where TMEFF1 may help regulate bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) and contribute to the overall balance of growth factors in the neural environment. A highly conserved cytoplasmic tail of TMEFF1 further underscores TMEFF1′s importance in cellular communication and signaling, making TMEFF1 (B-4) monoclonal antibody an essential tool for researchers studying cancer biology and neurodevelopment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Use of TMEFF1 Antibody (B-4) in Western AnalysisWe received a 10ul free trial sample that we have used at a 1 to 1000 dilution in our western blot analysis of multiple human derived T cell Lymphoma. We observed multiple not specific bands (3) plus the supposedly specific 40Kd band. A not specific band of 80Kd with stronger signal was observed.
