Datasheets
  • TLR7 Antibody (4F4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ TLR7 antibody, cited in 12 publications, provided at 50 µg/0.5 ml
  • raised against amino acids 451-500 of TLR7 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of TLR7 of human origin by WB, IP and IF
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for TLR7 Antibody (4F4) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with TLR7 Antibody (4F4) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

TLR7 Antibody (4F4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TLR7 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-TLR7 antibody (4F4) is available as the non-conjugated format. TLR7 plays a crucial role in the innate immune system by recognizing single-stranded RNA, which is often associated with viral infections. Upon activation, TLR7 initiates a signaling cascade that leads to the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and type I interferons, essential for mounting an effective immune response. This function is particularly important in the context of viral infections, as TLR7 helps the body detect and respond to pathogens early in the infection process. TLR7 is predominantly expressed in immune-related tissues such as the lung, placenta, and spleen, where TLR7 contributes to the regulation of immune responses. Anti-TLR7 antibody (4F4) serves as a valuable tool for researchers studying immune mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets in viral infections, particularly given TLR7′s ability to activate the NFκB signaling pathway and mediate inflammation.

I am using TLR7 (4F4): sc-57463 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
