  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 44-69 within an N-terminal extracellular domain of TLR7 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of TLR7 of human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • Anti-TLR7 Antibody (C-1) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for TLR7 Antibody (C-1) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with TLR7 Antibody (C-1) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

TLR7 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects TLR7 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TLR7 (C-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Toll-like Receptors (TLRs) are a critical family of receptors in the human immune system, sharing homology with the Drosophila Toll Receptors, which are essential for mediating dorsoventral polarization during embryonic development in Drosophila and play a significant role in host immunity. TLR7 recognizes single-stranded RNA, which is crucial for detecting viral infections and initiating an immune response. TLR7 is predominantly expressed in the lung, placenta, and spleen, and activation leads to stimulation of the NFκB signaling pathway, highlighting TLR7′s importance in orchestrating the immune response against pathogens. The highly conserved Toll homology (TH) domain within TLR7 is essential for signal transduction, allowing effective communication with downstream signaling molecules. Understanding TLR7 function and expression is vital for developing therapeutic strategies targeting immune responses, particularly in viral infections and autoimmune diseases.
